For the first time in the framework of such a large event, the section “Nursing” was presented as an equal participant in medical science

The conference “Nursing research quality improvement” was part of the AccelEd project

46 abstracts and 23 reports were selected

A round table was held with representatives of eight (8) Kazakhstani and three (3) European universities to adopt recommendations on strengthening the scientific potential of nurses

The competition commission determined the 3 best reports on relevance, quality of implementation and significance for practice.

The winners were:
1. Isenova Baldai, PhD student Kazakh National Medical University. S.D. Asfendiyarov
2. Umida Khodjakulova, PhD student South Kazakhstan Medical Academy
3. Mardona Rakhmatullaeva, PhD student Tashkent Medical Academy

Based on the results of the reports and discussions, a resolution was adopted, the main points of which were a petition for the adoption of a distance form of education at the master’s level in the specialty Nursing, the introduction of criteria for evaluating dissertations and the creation of independent Scientific Committees in the specialty Nursing.
