On May 14, the second meeting of the master class “Benchmarking of international best practices in managing the work of nursing faculties, cooperation in organizing PhD educational programs and assessing Master’s and PhD theses” was held.
Partners from medical universities of Kazakhstan, namely Astana Medical University, Karaganda Medical University, Nazarbayev University School of Medicine, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy made interesting reports on the management structure, staffing and finance of nursing faculties.
Our foreign partners LSMU, ABO, JAMK, UMCU shared a valuable example of the best nursing practice, gave their recommendations and ideas for improving the management system and structure of nursing faculties.
A valuable practical outcome of today was the recommendations, which were carefully considered and prioritized in separate section rooms of each university, which were then presented to colleagues for joint discussion. As a result of active and creative work, a list of the best recommendations was compiled, which will make a huge contribution to the improvement of nursing in Kazakhstan.
The listeners will have 3 more days of fruitful work and close interaction of several universities ahead to achieve the goal of this Master Class.
