Joint-stock company South Kazakhstan Medical Academy (SKMA) is the leading medical higher educational institution of the country, which has been providing educational services in the market of Kazakhstan for more than 40 years.
JSC «SKMA» trains specialists in the medical, pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical engineering fields at the level of secondary technical vocational education (medical college), higher (bachelor’s degree, internship), postgraduate education (master’s degree, doctoral degree, residency); at the level of continuous professional development of healthcare personnel (advanced training and retraining of medical and pharmaceutical personnel).
SKMA trains specialists in the educational program «Nursing» at the following levels: applied bachelor’s degree, academic bachelor’s degree, master’s degree. In 2020, SKMA passed the specialized accreditation of the Independent Kazakhstan Agency for Quality Assurance in Education for bachelor’s and master’s degree programs and seeks to develop it at the doctoral level.
SKMA cooperates in the field of medical science, education and practical healthcare with more than 30 leading foreign universities of the near and far abroad on the basis of signed memoranda of understanding, contracts, and agreements on international cooperation, the number of which is increasing every year. A memorandum of cooperation has been signed with leading universities in Turkey, Spain, Romania, and the United Kingdom. The directions of SKMA research work are determined in accordance with the potential of the university in priority areas of science development, as well as the needs of the region.

Participant of many scientific and practical international conferences, webinars, holder of diplomas, certificates, passed practical training in Sofia (Bulgaria), Bukhara and Samarkand (Uzbekistan). She is engaged in volunteer activities, received a letter of thanks for helping the residents of the city of Arys, where in 2019 there was an explosion of an ammunition warehouse. Since March 2020, she has been actively involved together with colleagues in the fight against COVID-19, and to date, she considers the main achievement to be the daily struggle for people’s lives in the department of anesthesiology, reanimatology and intensive care.
