On October 2021, the second webinar in a series of three webinars was held. It was dedicated to improving nursing practice through collaboration, Organizers – JAMK University of Applied Sciences and Karaganda Medical University. The second webinar was focused on the topic: How can we use service design approach in developing nursing services?
The key lecture of the webinar was delivered by Senior Advisor, PhD (Nursing science) Johanna Heikkilä, JAMK University of Applied Sciences, Finland. After that, the participants had the opportunity to discuss in small groups the possibility of using the design service in the urgent problems that nurses face every day in their practice. It is important to note that 5 problems were identified that require further study at the master class held in December. More than 90 participants from medical universities of Kazakhstan and their partners from practical health care took part in the discussion.
The next, third webinar will be devoted to the benefits of the JBI Collaboration Center in the development of service design. The lecture was delivered by Bianca Pilla, International Relations Manager, JBI, School of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Adelaide, Australia.
