Today, on May 4, an online seminar “Best practices of collaboration in nursing between healthcare organizations and universities” was held, which was attended by medical universities of Kazakhstan and Europe, as well as representatives of practical health care. As part of the workshop, Inesh Meyermanova from Karaganda Medical University presented Best international practices fostering Evidence-based Nursing (EBN) through collaboration between academic and healthcare – literature review. After that, European and Kazakhstani universities presented the best practices of collaboration in Nursing, which were identified as part of the e-benchmarking discussion.
Also, Preliminary recommendations for collaboration structures and processes development between universities and healthcare were presented by Annina Kangas-Niemi from JAMK University of Applied Sciences, Finland, and Feruza Saduyeva from Karaganda Medical University, Kazakhstan. As part of the work in the session rooms, the applicability of preliminary recommendations of collaborative practices in the context of Kazakhstan was discussed.
